Found this at Ulta and fell straight in love. To be quite honest, I bought them for a friend but haven’t seen her… sooooooo pretty much bath products are fair game at my house. I rationalize this as, “I will try them out FOR her. If I like them, I’ll buy them for her before I see her next.” I’m the TESTER. TESTER= GIVER. Same, same. Judge me, if you must, but that Italian Olive Oil Body Butter is worth the shame.

I’m not a fan of her music. The up and down voice patterns make me want to punch myself in the ear, BUT I like her as a person. I know her! I’ve seen the documentary! Say what you will, but one really becomes close with another after watching their documentary. Anycrazypants, I love the vivid colors Nicki Minaj brings to the stage. SOOOOO imagine my delight when OPI did this. My toes will never be the same. I never buy the OPI bigs on the collections, because you never know what you’re getting into. So I buy the minis to test drive them, then run out 4 months later only to bitch up a storm why the collection is nowhere to be found. Then jump right into another collection, completely forgetting about the former. This condition is known as Beauty Product ADHD.

Hair. We all know I’m picky about mine. I try to stay with the professional product lines, but occasionally I slum it, trying what the common people are getting at these days. I stumbled upon this two weeks ago. L’Oreal rarely disappoints, and you’d be hard pressed to beat the price for the quality. I loved it. A. Lot. That being said, the Restorative Masque cannot be used everyday, so I purchased the shampoo and conditioner in this line a few days later. The smell is beautiful. The conditioning quality? Meh. I had to add a little of my husband’s ethnic conditioner to this everyday conditioner to detangle my ridiculously long tresses. What am I, a chemist? Nay. I am not. What is up with the lack of creamy conditioners these days? Have you bitches stopped highlighting your hair? Take the below product and make it something that’s okay to utilize everyday. Gold. Just sayin… GOLD. The EverPure line brags about being sulfate-free and silicone-free. I would like to mention that my husband’s conditioner has silicone. So basically, I’m screaming NEXT on the shampoo and everyday conditioner, and hold silicone in a different light.

I wish I had beautiful skin. Long story short, young years battling acne left my skin scarred, and the older I get the more unhappy I am with my skin. I would love to eventually have laser, but until then I found this. DermaBlend. It’s thick with great coverage, but will not cause breakouts. Not for everyone, and definitely not for everyday. I’m still learning how to use it. I’ll let you know more after I get the hang of it.

For everyday use, this is my go to. If you’ve never tried bareMinerals and hate the feel of makeup, yet need a little coverage------------ this is it.
OMG. Tim and I started P90X2 last week. I can do several push ups now (even the jumpy kind) and am able to hang with Tim in most exercises. P90X2 seems more geared toward lean muscle building (at least in Phase1), not a lot of weights right now. I sincerely like this workout. It’s also nice to spend the time with my Timmy too. Those who sweat together, stay together. I guess… as long as he doesn’t start bossing me, we’ll be great. I did get a little no-it-all with him during Yoga, which he hates (both my superiority in flexibility and Yoga--- he truly dislikes Yoga). I have a whole new respect for stability balls and medicine balls right now thanks to Phase 1. Burpee on a stability ball sounds easy, but I can assure you IT IS NOT. I may have fallen during the second set, ball went flying, hitting Tim’s ball. Then due to excessive laughing, I could not do another burpee ball push up.

This is what our workout schedule looks like. Two rest days, spaced 4 days apart. The workouts have been shaved to just about an hour a piece, whereas in P90X1 some workouts could be as long as an hour and a half, like have an hour and a half in the evenings. HA! I wish! One thing in the cool down that really impressed me was the neuro-integrated stretching technique, which is essentially pulling the muscle away from the intended stretch for 5 counts, when pulling with a band, and then relaxing into the stretch much deeper than you ever thought possible. Wow. I was amazed at how effective this technique proved to be.
So that’s what I’ve been up to since the last Sundries. Shoot me any questions. If there’s a product out there you’d like me to try before you, all you need is to ask. I love new shit.
Check out makeup by Tiffany. I am addicted to her blog and youtube channel. She is a makeup artist and does product reviews of both drug store and professional products as well as makeup and hair tutorials. Her "best of" videos are great.
